General Guidelines:

  • The dosage can be optimized on basis of trial only and depends upon nature and concentration of stains to be removed and desired level of performance efficacy
  • It is recommended to begin with 0.2 % on weight of detergent formulation

Compatibility:
  • Enzymes designed for use in cleaning applications are compatible with commonly used detergent components in general
  • However it is recommended to test compatibility of Lipase with the ingredients of detergents prior to their applications

Usage:

  • 1. Levels: in alcohol fermentation from corn, the amount of enzyme used usually ranges between 10-16 activity units per gram of ingredient, depending on ingredients and other considerations
  • An example would be if 14 activity units per gram ingredient is chosen, then for each ton of ingredient, 280 g of 50000 U/g Acid Protease would be used
  • If 40000 U/g of Acid Protease is used, then 350 g should be needed
  • In food and feed, the amount used will depend on the specific need of the client and should be adjusted accordingly, with a suggestion of 5-10 U/g ingredient to begin with
  • For soy sauce production, the suggested rate is 25 U/g ingredients, and for beer, 5 U/g ingredient is suggested
  • Storage and Packaging: Transport and store in cool dry place and avoid direct exposure to sunlight or moisture
  • Stored below 15℃ in original sealed package

Nattokinase is an enzyme found in fermented soy beans known for its fibrinolytic activity. It has been shown to effectively break down fibrin and dissolve thrombus which improves overall cardiovascular health.

Fibrin, also known as “sticky blood”, is a protein that forms in the blood following an injury or trauma to prevent excess blood loss. Fibrin is also produced by inflammation caused by bacteria or toxins in the blood. This build-up of fibrin allows for blood clots to form, thereby slowing blood flow and increasing blood viscosity which may lead to elevated blood pressure, heart attack or stroke.

Presently, is used in hospitals for fibrinolytic injections. The enzyme’s activity only lasts 4 – 20 minutes and it is extremely cost prohibitive. It has been found that a much smaller dosage of Nattokinase is active for 4 – 12 hours.
